Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026 · Version 2026-09-14

The short version. We collect what we need to price your detail, turn up at the right place, and settle up: your name, phone, email, vehicle, the address, and the choices you make when you book. We use it to do the job and to contact you about it. We do not sell your information, and we never share your mobile number or SMS consent with anyone for marketing purposes. Everyone who handles your data on our behalf is listed by name below.

1. Who we are

513 Auto Clean is a mobile car detailing business operating in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, along with Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean 513 Auto Clean. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use 513autoclean.com or contact us about a detail.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you book, ask a question, or call, text, or email us, you may give us:

  • Your name and phone number
  • Your email address, if you give it
  • Your vehicle, its size, and anything you tell us about its condition
  • The address where the work will be done
  • The services you picked, the time you picked, and any notes
  • Your answers to the three questions we ask when you book: whether you accept the terms, whether we may text you, and whether we may film the detail

To send us a question, only your name and phone number are required. A booking needs the address as well, because that is where we turn up and what travel is priced from.

Information collected automatically

Our website runs no advertising pixels and no session-tracking tools, and nothing on it follows you to other websites. Our host, Netlify, does measure how fast our own pages load: a small script times the page as it appears and sends those timings back to Netlify, where they are pooled with everyone else's. It sets no cookie and carries nothing that identifies you, and we use it to find the pages that are slow. Like nearly all websites, our web host also records standard server logs, including IP addresses and browser type, for security and reliability. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

The service area map is drawn with OpenStreetMap tiles and a map library served by cdnjs, so both receive your IP address when the map loads. If you type a place into the map search, that text goes to OpenStreetMap to find it on the map.

Address suggestions in the booking form come from Google Places, so what you type into that box goes to Google as you type.

Our open times come from Google Calendar, which your browser reads directly, so Google sees that request.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Answer your question and give you a price
  • Schedule your detail and confirm the time and place
  • Contact you about your appointment, including if we are running late or need to move it
  • Settle up when the work is done
  • Follow up after service to make sure you are happy with the work
  • Keep the business and tax records the law requires

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number, we may contact you by text message about your quote or your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (513) 279-2915.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the messaging service providers that help us deliver the messages themselves.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers below, who help us run the business, and only as much as each one needs:

  • Netlify, hosts the website and runs the code behind the booking form. Keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses.
  • Web3Forms, delivers your question or booking request to our email inbox.
  • Google (Gmail and Fonts), is where our email lives, so anything you send us is stored there, and serves the typefaces on this site, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
  • OpenStreetMap, provides the service area map tiles and looks up places you type into the map search. Your IP address and that search text go to OpenStreetMap.
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare), serves the map library, so Cloudflare receives your IP address when the map loads.
  • Google Places, suggests addresses as you type in the booking form. What you type in that box goes to Google.
  • Google Maps (Routes), measures the drive to your address so we can price travel. This happens from our server, with your address, not from your browser.
  • Google Calendar, holds our availability. Your browser reads our open times from it.
  • Resend, sends our confirmation and reminder emails.
  • Netlify Real User Monitoring, measures how quickly pages load for real visitors. A small script times the page and sends those timings to Netlify. It uses no cookie and carries nothing that identifies you.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or if it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. The one thing we measure is how quickly our pages load, described in section 2, and it needs no cookie to do it.

There is one thing we can keep in your browser, and only if you ask for it. If you start a booking and leave before finishing, we offer to keep your answers so they are still there next time. Say yes and they are stored in your own browser for 14 days, so that the next time you tap Book Now you carry on where you stopped. That information stays on your device, never reaches us until you actually book, and you can throw it away from the same screen that offered to keep it. Say no, or say nothing, and there is nothing to throw away.

If we ever add analytics that identify you or follow you between websites, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any of it loads.

7. How long we keep it

We keep questions, booking requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep reasonable business and tax records, generally up to seven years for records tied to a completed, paid job. If you asked for a quote but never booked, you can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will. Bookings arrive in our email inbox.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Stop contacting you, by phone, text, or email

Just email 513autoclean@gmail.com or call (513) 279-2915 and we will take care of it. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We honor these requests regardless of whether a specific law applies to you.

9. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS, the code behind the booking form checks every request against our own price list rather than trusting the browser, and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do the work. Card numbers never touch our systems; they go directly to the payment processor named above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not collect more than we need, which is the best protection there is.

10. Children’s privacy

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the version date at the top. The version that applied when you booked is recorded with your booking. Significant changes will be made clear on the website.
